The location was beautiful and close to a charming pub serving 5 real ales and evening meals, as well as being near Windermere and a ferry, with a lovely beer garden.

Location was superb and breakfast was top notch.

Booked a double room with two single beds or a king size but was given a normal double which was disappointing. Cleanliness of bathroom could have been better.

Outstanding food, overall lovely old and great relaxing place.

This place is in a stunning and marvelous location, just a pleasant stroll away from Cunsey Beck, and the room has a comfortable bed, a shower, and a marvelous view of the garden.

The breakfast was fantastic, made with delicious local products. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful area, right next to Moss Eccles Tarn and close to both pubs. It's a far nicer area than Windermere. I didn't want to leave and would definitely return.

Went across Hard Knot Pass...an experience in itself, despite the weather. Went next door to Hill Top....the home of Betrix Potter and to the bobbin mill...very interesting. Went to Lake side and the steam train as well as the lake...and had some excellent mills at the pub, next door.

The location of Buckle Yeat is fantastic, with the National Trust Hill Top Museum nearby. The garden view from our room was delightful. The staff members at Buckle Yeat were all excellent.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Attractive sitting room with inviting real fire burning. Delicious breakfast with plenty to eat all made to order. Very friendly welcome and made to feel at home.

The room was spotless and brand-new, with a lovely bathroom equipped with both a bathtub and a shower; the location is unbeatable, just a short walk to a nearby pub and public transport.

This place is centrally located and serves delicious breakfast in the lounge area.

The rooms had a nice view and were nicely furnished.

This is one of the best guest houses we have ever stayed in. The room was lovely complete with home made shortbread bisquits. The breakfast was much better than a lot of Hotels we have stayed in it was excellent. We had lovely walks nearby no need to drive anywhere and the pub next door was great. The only problem with the pub it does get very busy and we could not eat there so next time we will book before hand. I have already recommended Buckle Yeat to my friends and would not hesitate to visit there again.

This place has excellent Wi-Fi and a safe in the room, a beautiful location, incredible breakfast with local products, and helpful staff.

We really enjoyed our stay at Buckle Yeat. It was an absolutely perfect and excellent location for us, very close to Beatrix Potter's home. The pub had a wonderfully characterful atmosphere and served 5 real ales. The restaurant was nice and the food was delightful. The rooms were spotless and felt brand-new.

Lovely hotel,excellent food,great hosts,lovely area.This was our second visit but will certainly not be our last.We went after recommendation of friends and were not disappointed.Can't wait for the next time.
